SURE, Can you get a kitten cheaper...Absolutely. HOWEVER if it's too good to be true, it normally is! The saying "You get what you pay for" still applies! Reputable breeders that put all the time and money in will not be selling cheap. Backyard Breeders sell cheap, they don't health test parents to ensure they have no genetic health issues they can pass on to kittens. They feed the cheapest food, don't socialize, don't vet, most live in cages/outside, or in not clean environments. You may pay less upfront but more than likely you're going to end up with an unsocialized kitten that maybe sick or end up with a genetic disease later in life.
